Administration and Finance Officer/Accountant

Job Summary

The Administration & Finance Officer/Accountant is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementation and timely reporting of financial utilization, human and material resource management and coordinates and support subordinate finance staffs in satellite cities.

Job Requirement

• Education: BA/Diploma (10+3) in Accounting, financial management and in other related fields
• Experience: 2/4 years of relevant work experience for BA/Diploma respectively, preferable in an NGO environment.

Competency Requirements

• Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner;
• Good skills in the use of computers and Peachtree accounting software;
• Firm belief in teamwork, gender equality, sensitivity to diversity, transparent and participatory management.

Report to: Wolaita Soddo Area Program Manager

Number of staff required: One (1)

Language: Amharic and English

Terms of employment: One year contract with possibility of extension based on performance and the availability of fund

Duty station:  Wolaita Soddo
