Job Requirement

Qualifications/Skills:

• Qualifications:- B.SC Degree/Diploma in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial and Textile Engineering
• Relevant Experience: – 5 years and above of which 3 years in PP bag manufacturing or similar plastic factories as a technical Head.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of technicians responsible for PP bag production equipment and processes.
• Continuously analyze and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in PP bag manufacturing.
• Develop and implement new technologies, equipment modifications, or production methods to achieve process improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects to evaluate the impact of proposed technical changes.
• Provide technical guidance and support on equipment operation, process control, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Investigate and resolve technical problems like machine breakdowns, quality defects, or production inconsistencies.
• Implement corrective and preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
• Maintain detailed records of production data, technical specifications, and problem-solving solutions. Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all PP bag manufacturing processes.
• Create and deliver technical training programs for the production team on new equipment, processes, or techniques. Regularly update training materials and resources to keep the team informed about advancements in PP bag manufacturing.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in PP bag manufacturing.
• Encourage and contribute to the organization’s innovation efforts by proposing and evaluating new PP bag designs, materials, or production methods.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team, encouraging them to identify and suggest technical process enhancements.

Location: Amhara Regional State Tulefa kebele (bulga Town), 68 km far away from Addis Ababa
