Job Requirement

• Educational Requirements
• • Diploma or high school completion with at least two years of experience in an optical workshop, preferably in a secondary eye care setting.
  • Certificate of completion in reading prescriptions, glazing, and fitting is required.
• Technical Skills
• • Proficiency in understanding optical axis and power.
  • Adequate vision to read figures from a lens meter.
• Professional Experience
• • Previous working experience in an eye care service organization, health background organization, or NGO is mandatory.
  • Experience running or leading an ophthalmic workshop is preferred.
• Additional Skills
• • Ability to achieve team goals while demonstrating organizational values and utilizing resources responsibly.
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and build effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Capability to work independently on assigned tasks while accepting direction on given assignments.
  • Discretion and judgment in handling confidential information and issues.
