Sr . Communications and External Relations Officer

Job Requirement

• Education:  At least BA Degree in communication, Journalism, Language studies, or related social science disciplines from accredited institute.
• Experience:   5 years hands-on experience as Communications manager or officer, PR or liaison Officer in reputable business organization (s),
• Other Capabilities:  Full knowledge of Regional, municipal and departmental processes of government services; Shinning accomplishments or track record as senior PR or communication officer

Additional Requirement

• Mastery of the process and steps of government service delivery;
• Tactful in going through bureaucracies around operational environment;
• Knowledge and skill of communications, public relations, persuading and marketing best practices;
• Possess good writing skill and be able to compose engaging and accurate content.
• Ability to identify ways to improve communication efforts;
• Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction;
• Excellent interpersonal behaviour
