Job Requirement

Minimum Qualification, Experience and Skills

Academic Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field of public relations, marketing, mass communication or journalism and a related area.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of public relations, marketing, mass communication, fundraising, events and promotion or a related area.
• Proven experience and understanding of public relations and communications at NGO level, and proven ability to position and advocate for issues effectively.
• Experience working on production & dissemination of communication products to a variety of audiences and understanding of channels of dissemination.
• Experience in managing the social media accounts of high profile

Skills & Competencies

• Have an in-depth understanding of public speaking, communication and media.
• Excellent writing and communication skills of English, Amharic & other local languages.
• Proficient in computer software such as MS Office, web designing/publishing, social media, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, electronic mail procedures, etc.
• Familiar with digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of public information, media and community outreach.
• Ability to multitask prioritizes, manage time efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines.
